I was wondering, as I'm busy contemplating my new set up, where the PCF staff get the things from that you test.
More specific, where did you guys get the AMD X6 from that you tested in the June & July magazines? I'm looking for a supplier and am having a hard time finding a good one.
Also, that ATI in the August magazine that got your vote of confidence... which supplier did you get it from?

I'm sure that Mike will be here momentarily with an answer, but just bear in mind that some of the reviews in the magazine are from the UK PCF, so it's not always local supply. If I am not very much mistaken, it's only Nick, Brett and Mike who write locally; anyone other author means that the article is from PCF UK.

I do realise that the guys in the UK also send through a lot of reviews, hence the price differences that we sometimes encounter. But even if PCF SA didn't write the review, do you (PCF SA) know of any good suppliers where we can look at getting the parts locally?

Goodmonring every one. I have just arrived in the office after finally getting my DSL sorted.

The AMD Phenom II X6 chips we get directly from AMD.

The Asus card is available from Prophecy and a few other online stores.

Thanks! My brother-in-law was struggling to get a price list for my new set up. He's struggling to find one of his suppliers that stock AMD, but has had no success, yet, which is the main reason I just had to ask :)
