If i have 2GB of memory and i only want to use 1GB for system memory
and the other GB for reading & writing stuff (The OS it self)

Memory is way faster than a HDD as we all know.
So if i somehow manage to copy a small linux installation to the 1GB Ramdrive then boot from it
do you think it will work way faster ?

The boot up will be slow since it has to copy the installation to memory.
But after that is should operate superquick.

This is what i'm thinking of to accomplish this.
Boot to a useless Linux environment
Create a ranmdrive
then use 'rsync' to sync a mounted partition or ISO to the ramdrive
then chroot the environment to the root of the ramdrive then continue to load the OS.

Some might ask "But Why!
Cus i like to fool around and try stuff
