Can someone tell me how to disable double click in Windows registry or something? I tried setting the speed to 'fast' in control panel, which under normal circumstances you would need to be superman to have the test folder open or close. Doesn't work for me however, my mouse does 6 super fast clicks for every 1 click :|

You wouldn't rather buy a better quality mouse?

EDIT:
What you could do is use an extremely large value for the double click speed in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse\DoubleClickSpeed

Troubleshoot mouse double-clicking when you single-click

No way, thats like changing your favorite pajamas and having trouble sleeping at night. It's a Razer after all (and the crappiest mouse I've ever had but oh so comfortable)

Tried the registry setting on -2000, kinda works but the odd triple-click still sneaks in somehow... Still much better than it was before so that's my solution, thanks guys :P

 If it's the crappiest you've ever had, I'm seriously wondering what else you had... Which Razer is it?

Copperhead. I've had all sorts of cheapies before, none of them had issues with:
-locking up or freezing in a game
-drivers and software disappearing from the PC completely
-sometimes making windows think it is being continuously plugged in and out (with sound effects :| )

Otherwise it's smooth, accurate and sensitive as one would expect. The problems come and go like once or twice per month even with the latest firmware updates
